yesterday i went to see toy story 3 with kevin. i've loved and adored toy story since it first came out. i have it on VHS, both 1 and 2 on DVD and i have a buzz lightyear that was my best friend. he's 13 years old and years of play have taken their tole on him but i still love him to death. seeing toy story 3 was so exciting for me, i've been waiting so long and i gotta say, i wasn't disappointed. it was sweet, funny, heartbreaking and perfect. i loved every second of it but no spoilers 'cause thats not my sorta thing.

yesterday, i was also a big kid, i couldn't stop myself from buying not only an authentic "andys collection" woody doll but a bullseye and jessie partner pack too. now all i want is buzz, the andys collection one. my buzz, he's too old to get tossed around and played with and i'm kinda obsessive when it comes to completing collections so i think i'll get him sooner or later.

tomorrow i'm spending the whole day with amy. we're going to get lunch, hang out and then go see inception. we're both pretty excited and i know it's gonna be awesome. we haven't had an us day in a long time. :)

this is the love of my life. his name is kevin and he's a big goofball but he's pretty damn amazing too. i feel honoured to be his girlfriend, i'm so glad he picked me over anyone else. in less 2 weeks we'll be back together a year, one whole perfect year. so here's a post just for him. he deserves it for being so wonderful.
we NEVER get good pictures together but last night we did. so heres some of them.
incase you can't tell, he pretty much makes me smile all the time.

so, theres this girl and she knows who she is but she doesn't know how amazing she is. she's my best friend in the whole world and her name is amy brogan.

i can't even begin to describe how close we are, our friendship is one for the books. amy and i, we're completely in sync, i know that sounds weird but we are. we say the same thing at the same time, we do the same thing at the same time, hell we even think the same thing at the same time, it's amazing. amy's the one that's always been there for me, through the good times and bad she's the one constant thing in my life. it's safe to say nothing can tear us apart. some friends have come and gone and tried to take one or the other with them but that just won't happen. we're for keeps. she's always there when i need to vent, rant or celebrate, she understands and listens without judging me over silly things. i don't know how i got so lucky to have a best friend like her but seriously i'm glad it happened.

it's been 5, maybe 6 years now since we got really close and neither of us have looked back. it's amazing how we stick by each other, it's amazing but it comes natural. without her, i don't know where i would be, things would be a lot different. i thank god for her and will never stop. she's beautiful in every way, she just has this presence that you can't help fall in love with. i love her with more than my whole heart. i'm just so happy to call her my best friend.

we just had food together and even though it was only for 30 minutes it was great! we have fun no matter what we're doing, it's just perfect. i sound like a lesbian when i talk about her but i'm cool with that because it's impossible for me to be ashamed of how much i love her.

amy, thank you for everything. you're my best friend and always will be. i know that for sure. :)

i'm failing a bit at this blog but i swear i'm trying!

the last few days have been a bit dull and boring, all i've really done is work and tidy my room, with the exception of monday, which was spent in town with kevin and daniel. we had a few drinks down the bank walk and then went to a local jam session. i had a mammoth headache which resulted in me having to leave early but it was fun up until then!

oh, i went to visit my godson on wednesday after work. it was nice, i haven't seen him in a while. he's gotten so big and grown up. i can't believe he's also two! while there, i found the last 3 dvds i needed to finish my pixar collection! it's all done now and i'm delighted, now i gotta make a start on my disney collection. one down...a hell of a lot to go!

i'm working tomorrow and monday so my free days have been limited this week but once i get a chance i'll try post a picture update and show some stuff i've done more recently. i'd do it at work but the internet connection is no-where near strong enough to let me post pictures.

so, yeah, thats about it really. i'm going to get myself to sleep soon, i've gotta be up early and i hate being all tired and sluggish in work.

this weekend was another wonderful one. although i didn't actually do much, it was so perfect. kevin stayed over the whole weekend 'cause i've had a free house since friday and i hate staying on my own.

on friday he came over after work, we just lay about, watching shit online and cuddling. we got some food and not long after, amy text asking if we wanted to go for a drive, so we did. it was just a nice little drive around town, talking with the girls and being silly.

saturday was the best day though, kevin and i woke up around 11ish and decided to get breakfast in town. it was lovely, dates with him always are. we wandering about town afterward, got ice-cream and i got amy a present :) i text her and we arranged to meet up. we took her niece to the pet shop in town and we got to hold the most adorable baby bunnies in the world. then we took her pick out some toys in town, she loved it. its just a pity amy had to work! she left us off and we got settled down for kevin to watch the football, needless to say i was on here. we ate a lot of junk food, snuggled and giggled too, i loved it. then we got ready for bed, cuddled up and watched both wall-e and monsters inc. it was just so perfect in every way, i love him so damn much.

anyway, yesterday was a bit dull and i was getting fucked with cramps the whole day so all that really happened was the football (wooo spain), getting a yummy indian take-out and watching loads of friends.

all in all it was a good weekend, prepare for an up-date about the coming week soon :D

well hey, there blogspot. how are you doing. it's been a while, huh? let's try make this work again, okay? i'm having the best summer of my life right now and i really should be documenting it some where other than twitter.

so far my summer has consisting of, long drives to no-where and everywhere, adventures with the people i love, sneaky smokes, nights out, gossip drives, ice-pops, gaga, "dory", kisses and cuddles with the boy, growing up and moving on, making new friends, DIED, the blueberry, lindas, the village tavern, iphone, backroads, getting lost and loving it, never being at home.

theres more but i'm drawing a blank. i'm gonna try my best to update here, with pictures, daily adventure blogs, nonsense that no-one cares about and anything else that comes to mind. lets do this.

scotland was so amazing. i'd honestly go back and live there right now if i had the chance but alas i must wait for another few weeks before i visit again. i don't have any pictures to put up as of yet but i will once i get things developed and can be arsed digging my camera out of my suitcase.
oh, kevin and i totally got attacked by a deer when we went on a walk around the uni campus. it was pretty scary to say the least.
i start back at work tomorrow so expect a few updates with actual pictures. i have about 6 rolls that are now mixed up so dunno what is on what. yay!

once again, a ton of things have changed again. i'm not moving to dublin anymore which isnt as bad as it seems. i just hate the thought of being stuck here again but i refuse to let things go how they were last year. i just gotta keep my head up about this, thats all.

i randomly went rumaging through a drawer in our house today and found two old point and shoot cameras. i clearly took them for myself. i'm gonna run some film through them and see if they're working and if they are, jackpot for me!
i havent had anything to update with in a long time and it's making me sad but i hope that once i come back from bulgaria and start my moving process ill have a lot more to talk about and more pictures to post! i'm excited for both of these up coming events but a little nervous too.
a lot is changing come septmember, both good and bad, i'm just hoping it all will work out for the best.

LIFE IS GOOD!!!!

i honestly can't believe how much things have turned around in such a short space of time.
i'm so content and happy with the way things are running. i have the people i need in my life.
others have walked away recently and to be perfectly honest? i feel a huge weight off my chest, i feel like i can breathe again. i feel free, i feel like me.

i can't update with pictures from work because the internet connection is so week but i promise a picture update is coming soon..its been too long since i've posted!

i haven't blogged in nearly two months, i'm disappointed in myself for that but i'm going to try my best to start blogging properly again.

anyway, i guess i should update. a lot has changed in the past month, i feel so much better as a person. i've changed my ways, i've put my childish, grudge-holding, horrible side away and found a newer, better person underneath it all. i've made a mends with people that are important to me and i've helped others do the same. it feel amazing, its just a pity that everyone can't seem to put things behind them.
things are going so well in my life, things with friends, family, relationships and life in general have peaked and i'm hoping the don't drop again. i got one of my best friends back in my life and i don't think i've been happier, i missed niamh more than i can explain in words and thankfully i helped amy get her back too. i've made new and regained old friends through this too, thanks to niamh of course. i've also my boy back, i'm not going to get my hopes up but things are going amazingly and i can safely say i took him for granted first time.
there are of course still people and things, holding me back and bringing me down but to be honest i'm not letting in bother me. people will eventually see that i can't be owned, i am my own person and i make my own choices, i just hope they realize before i have to let them go.

i'm finally content with my life again, i'm hoping and praying it keeps going this way, i don't want anything to change anytime soon. i love and cherish the people i have and the life i have.

amazing weekend, really, it was just so perfect!
on friday, amy daniel and i headed to sky for the night, we were the only ones dancing until the lads joined us, hahah, it was so much fun, we ended up going home alone shockingly then making so much food that the dog ate most of.
saturday was just as good but i remember a lot less! daniels birthday was fantastic althought the dancers were a bit shit to be honest.
sunday, i was not well at all but we decided to get up and go to the beach for the day, it was SO much fun even tho 4 of us were dying. i only have the beach pictures for the moment, heres a few of my favs.

i'm off to scotland tomorrow. im so fecking nervous its giving me stomachaches.

i'm leaving for new york in roughly 4 hours, well im leaving for the airport. im all packed, have everything sorted and im not the least bit excited yet, i think i will be once im on the plane but until then im just not excited at all! i am happy about going tho, getting away for a whole week and just enjoying the buzz of the city and of course blowing $1300 on whatever i want. hopefully when i get back ill have a few interesting stories to blog about and hopefully i few pictures too.
ill miss you all if i end up in the hudson.

i'm very disappointed with the film i developed today, my fisheye roll got damaged because of dirty rollers in our lab so any decent pictures i have are covered in stains and the pictures i was most excited for from my holga didnt come out, but just means ill have to try again and again and again! doesnt bother me that much. one week until new york, im not excited yet, i wanna be excited now!
i dont really have anything to say. i just wanna put up the collage i made of a few different pictures i took in my room with my holga. my room is honestly my most favorite place in the world. it is a perfect representation of me and my passions. diet coke is one, obv.

i'm not using this blog as much as i use my private blog, i should but i don't, im going to start trying.
the good weather we've been having recently has been putting me in such a good mood all the time, i love it. i just wish i had more time to enjoy the weather but work and stuff has been stopping that but theres still nothing like waking up to the sun shining!
im really bored right now and would love someone to come keep me company for a while, i just want to go for a walk and have a chat and smoke my lungs black, i can't wait until people are back during the summer!
i don't really have much else to say, im just trying to occupy myself for a little while i guess but i think its getting to a certain point where i'm just talking to myself. i havent done anything picture worthy in so long, im constantly exposing my rolls in my holga and my digital stuff isnt what i want it to be but i'm just keeping my mind set on up coming events that will provide excellent picture oppertunities! new york is two weeks away, scotland is four, im more excited for april than i have been for anything in a long while, getting away is going to be just what i need.
these days im listening to a lot of the avett brothers, for the fallen dreams, city and colour, a day to remember and of course, blink. thats a pretty wide varity but each band worths when im in a certain mood. the avett brothers are amazing, anyone who hasnt heard of them should check them out asap, they're kinda folksy but not to the extent of say bon iver or old crow medicine show, they're more along the lines of city in colour i guess but not exactly there, the point in, they're great.
thats about all i have to say, this is a lot longer than my usual blogs but i just wanted to fill up time and space. im going to go smoke, drink cola and watch scrubs.

i keep forgetting about my blogging, well, im not really forgetting, its just that i have nothing to blog about. i miss doing things and seeing people so much.
today is a really really nice day, im working at the moment, im here until 5:30 but i think after work im going to go on a really long walk on my own, just me and my camera, a pack of smokes too i guess. i dont know if ill take pictures though, i might just walk and look, that can be nice too sometimes. days like these make me miss my friends and my boy. i wish i was on amys balconey right now with just a joint, good tunes, good company and no worries! im sick of donegal, im sick of my routine.
i remember days like this we always used to go get ice-cream, then go for a really long walk, talk and talk and talk, you'd hold my hand and laugh when i tripped and those days we always felt like we were made for each other, those kisses should have lasted forever.
im in a strange mood.

i should go get printing. work requires so much effort sometimes.

i havent been sleeping very well recently, ive been getting 1 or 2 hours a night, 4 if im lucky
and when i do sleep i have nightmares or extremely vivid dreams that leave me wishing i hadn't slept in the first place.
its making me realize how important something i took for granted is.
but one good thing came out of this lack of sleep.
i had an idea for a picture, it actually inspired me to put the effort in
all in all im happy with how it turned out, i did it on digital cos i couldnt wait to finish a roll of film;

im so bored of it, i want more excitement!
but tonight im going to daniels with amy for a chinkys, probably a few drinks and maybe a wee photoshoot. im excited about it tbh. i havent seen those two in ages!

i need to start sleeping again though.
